Sheila Walsh

Keynote Speaker

Sheila Walsh is a Scottish lass known as “the encourager” to the over 5.5 million women she’s met and spoken to around the world. She loves being a Bible teacher, making God’s Word practical, and sharing her own story of how God met her when she was at her lowest point and lifted her up again. Sheila also enjoys being an author—in fact she likes to write everyday—and has sold more than five million books. Her newest, In the Middle of the Mess: Strength for This Beautiful, Broken Life, releases in November 2017. She is the cohost of the television program Life Today, airing in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia.
Her favorite way to spend a day is to support missions work through the Life Today ministry, working worldwide to feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, provide medical help to the sick, and rescue boys and girls from sex slavery. She most recently traveled to Africa, the Dominican Republic, and Southeast Asia.
Calling Texas home, Sheila lives in Dallas with her husband, Barry; her son, Christian; and three little dogs—Belle, Tink, and Maggie.

Enough Grace Ministries

Candise Farmer is the founder of Enough Grace Ministries, an outreach organization that is committed to spreading the message of hope which can only be found in God’s Word. Being born into the care of devoutly Christ-loving parents, Bill and Linda Moody, Candise was drawn by the Lord to saving faith in Jesus at the age of 8. As a child and teenager, Candise developed a deep passion and dependency upon the Word of God. In recent years, the Lord has allowed Candise to speak - sharing Scriptural insights and her personal testimony - at various church, pro-life, hunting/outdoor, student, and women’s ministry events. Candise and Rusty, her husband of 25 years, live in Springville, Tennessee, where they also serve students. Rusty enjoys traveling with Harvest Outdoor Ministries, sharing the Gospel at wild game dinners and ministering at hunting/outdoor events.
Candise is the author of Green Pastures of a Barren Land a book that offers seven Biblical principles of contentment which are set within her family’s journey through childlessness. She loves being "Aunt C" to her two nieces and six nephews. God inspires folks from all walks of life through Candise’s reliance upon His grace and mercy as bringing redemptive beauty to the messy spots of her life. Breakout Sessions

Each adult attendee may choose two.

Faith in a Fallen World

Session Leader: Danielle Bell

God’s grace has portrayed His supernatural testimony of trust amidst trying times in the life of this session’s leader, Danielle Bell. Whether encountering a medical scare or the countless uncertainties of an adoption process, God has enabled Danielle to find a remarkable faith that has mesmerized and inspired the folks around her. Join Danielle in looking at how the incredible truths of Hebrews 11 impact our imperfect lives and point us to Jesus. Whether you are on a mountaintop, in a valley, or in-between, this passage is sure to challenge, convict, inspire and encourage you to life with purpose as you seek to daily trust in Jesus.

Danielle Bell has over 21 years of children’s ministry experience. She currently serves as minister to children at the Dawson Family of Faith in Birmingham, Alabama. Danielle is a contributor, curriculum writer, and content editor of various children’s ministry resources, and she speaks nationally at conferences and seminars. She’s completely imperfect and loves to share and serve in a transparent and relational way. Danielle is grateful for her supportive family and friends who challenge her to grow closer in her walk with Jesus. Her newest journey has been as a foster/adoptive single mom and she’s been “blown away” by all God has taught her through such a broken process – beauty from ashes. Danielle serves on the Enough Grace Ministries board of directors, and you can learn more about her at her blog, dandibell, at

Living from God’s Wisdom Rather than the World’s: A Journey with Jesus

Session Leader: Leeba Curlin

One of Leeba Curlin’s spiritual pursuits is encouraging her children and grandchildren to study the written Word in order to better know God and to be able to face today’s social pressures with God’s truth against the enemy’s lies. In this session, Leeba will be discussing her insights gained through the years in the role of a wife and mother who desired to follow Jesus. This will include a look at what she did that appeared to bear God’s fruit and also what could have been done better or wiser. Leeba states, “Hopefully, we are learners until we see Jesus.”

Leeba Curlin is the wife of Dr. John Curlin, retired OB/GYN of the Jackson Clinic. She and Dr. Curlin are former hosts of American Family Radio. Leeba is the mother to seven grown married children. Along with enjoying them, their spouses and their 31 children, she and her husband divide their times between Humboldt, Tennessee, and Panama where she studies Biblical topics, visits and teaches weekly at the Women’s prison while her husband is involved in a ministry of facilitating listening prayer. Leeba was brought up in a strong Christian home where she trusted Christ as a young girl. Coming to faith at a young age gave her many years to grow in Him and experience his direction and mercies in things like choosing a mate, raising a family, and now trusting Him in the sunset years of life to apply her time to that which God considers wise.

THIS is Stealing your JOY?

Session Leader: Joy Greene
